My name is Brandy, I'm 26 years old, and I love debating politics, religion and social issues. I have very strong opinions on just about everything. thorne1966 (Deb), who has been the light of my life for 7 years. We have a six year old son named Brendan Eric, who is my biological son and a child of Debbie's heart, if not her body.
The issues I care deeply and passionately about:
Equality
Women's liberation
Homosexual civil rights
Poverty relief
Laws to help catch deadbeat fathers, especially those that run across international borders
Minority rights and affirmative action
The US Constitution as a "living document" that's meant to progress along with society.
Organizations I am a member of, or that we financially support:
The ACLU
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State
The American/International Red Cross/Red Crescent
America's Second Harvest
The American Kennel Club (AKC)

My Amazon Wishlist
I'm a big fan of games in general - board games, card games, role-playing games, PC games. I love logic puzzles. I could play Empire XP all day long (it's unbelievably addictive). I love The Sims and The Sims 2. I tried various MMORPGs and got bored with the drama and whining, so I don't play online anymore. I'll be a first-year college student at West Virginia University next year, majoring in Political Science. My domestic partner, Debbie, is double-majoring in Political Science and Journalism. We hope to work for the ACLU or a similar civil rights organization in the future.
